Jairo E. Borges-Andrade

Jairo E. Borges-Andrade has been a full professor at the University of Brasília since 1993. His research is in the area of workplace learning and training & development in organizations. He teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Prof. Borges-Andrade received his PhD in Instructional Systems from Florida State University (1979). Between 1979-1993, he was at the Brazilian Corporation for Agricultural Research. He was a member of the executive committees of the First Regional and the Federal Boards of Psychology in Brazil in the 1980´s. In the 1990’s and early 2000’s, he coordinated the Psychology activities at the National Board for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and at the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). He is the past President of the National Association of Research and Postgraduate Studies (ANPEPP) and the Brazilian Association for Organizational and Work Psychology.
